Norway’s law requiring 40 percent of public company board members to be women has begun to take effect. Perhaps it’s too soon to tell if the change has improved boardroom discussions and debate, but this article is an interesting overview of what’s happening in Norway with some of the women—dubbed the “Golden Skirts” in the media—who have been chosen to be members of many boards.
