Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation

Registration is now open for the WBL Nashville Business Mission and Tour, July 27-29, 2010. 

In response to popular demand, WBL is excited to be taking a group of senior executive women on a business mission to Nashville on July 27-29, 2010!  The trip will include opportunities to visit Nashville companies and meet Nashville health care executives.

About the Event:

In addition to annual Summits, WBL hosts a series of interactive trips to visit various cities in the U.S. (and abroad) where exciting health care innovation and activity is taking place.  The trip features the opportunity to grow relationships in a smaller group setting, with a group of approximately 30 other Foundation Associates traveling from company to company by bus.  Additionally, these events feature opportunities to meet senior health care leadership in the cities WBL visits, and give WBL Foundation Associates the chance to grow their relationships in that city exponentially.  Following successful trips within the U.S. to Houston and Minneapolis, WBL has chosen Nashville, the “Silicon Valley” of health care, for the 2010 WBL Business Mission and Company Tours event.
Why Nashville?
Nashville is a hub for the nation’s health care services industry with nearly 300 health care companies calling the city home. The industry cluster includes 17 public-traded health care companies and contributes $30 billion annually to the Nashville economy, supporting more than 100,000 jobs regionally and 400,000 jobs on a global basis. With a membership of nearly 200 diverse companies, there is an active Nashville Health Care Council in the city that works to foster the growth of Nashville’s dynamic health care industry.
