Sponsor Spotlight: Healthways

Posted by wblfoundation

Congrats to WBL Platinum Sponsor Healthways for hosting its first ever Well-Being Summit in Washington, D.C.!  The Summit was attended by more than 150 executives from the health care industry including many WBL Foundation Associates. The event provided an opportunity to share information about the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index.

Experts who spoke at the Well-Being Summit included Dr. Michael Roizen, Chief Wellness Officer and Chairman of the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute and USA Today Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page.  Ali Vincent, Winner of NBC’s Biggest Loser Season Five, stopped by as a special guest and is pictured on the WBL home page with Anne Wilkins, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Healthways.

WBL Foundation Associates had the opportunity to have their “Well-Being” measured at the 2009 WBL Summit and got to experience first-hand the different ways the Well-Being Index can be helpful and informative (visit the Well-Being Index Web site to learn more about this new official measure of the health and well-being of people worldwide.)  For more information about this article, contact Eleanor Whitley at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  Healthways and Gallup are planning the next Summits currently, so stay tuned!
