The face of America’s health care industry – manufacturers, payors, providers and service providers – is rapidly and dramatically changing. Over the past few years, highly accomplished women have risen to senior leadership positions in their health care companies. And many more are getting ready to make the leap.
The Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation™ (“WBL”) – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established in 2001 to address the unique needs of women serving in a senior executive capacity in the U.S. health care industry.
WBL Foundation Staff make frequent introductions between Foundation Associates to initiate networking opportunities and foster important business connections. WBL holds regular networking dinners, called Bring Your Own Credit Card (“BYOCCs”™), that are held in major U.S. cities. These BYOCCs are a chance for Foundation Associates to network and to learn more about the WBL Foundation between WBL’s annual summits. Click here for a schedule of upcoming BYOCCs and other WBL events in your area and around the country.
If you know a senior level executive woman in the health care industry, nominate her to the Women Business Leaders in the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation! Self-nominations are also welcome.
The goal of this foundation is to help senior executive women in the health care industry improve their businesses and continue growing professionally.
Our objectives to achieve that goal are the following:
